Gas Guzzler Getaway!
Here at Wolf Creek Farm, we are so tired of winter with it’s torrential rains, suffocating snow and bleak, blustery winds. Then, the world situation tops it all off with gas prices that are out of the roof mandating that we here begin carpooling and making sure all of our trips to Mt. Airy (“Mayberry”) are absolutely necessary. If you are also tired of the winter blahs, be sure that spring is on the way here! The birds are singing again and the cows actually have green grass to eat. The lake is a little muddy from recent rains, but will be clearing up soon, and we KNOW the fish are hungry! We are offering a Gas Guzzler Getaway Package to guests booking two or more nights and will discount your stay at 20 cents a mile that it takes you to get here! Call us at 800-416-9653 or e-mail to info@wolfcreekfarmva.com for more information. We’ll look forward to seeing you soon. Offer good until June 30, 2011
To Our Veterans
Thank you so much to all the Veterans who have been calling us in the past week to schedule our “free night” for Veterans’ Day November 10, 2010. We booked this free night with the first veteran who called to inquire about it, but for some unknown “cyber” reason, the bnb4vets.org site has not picked up that we have booked that night. Gary and I feel your disappointment most keenly and wish we could accommodate all the vets and families we have spoken with. We have been unable to correct the situation as of this evening, Sun. Oct. 17 and apologize for your inconvenience. We have been told that some mysterious web person is supposed to correct this within 48 hours.
Please know that there are no words enough to say “thank you” to all the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces. Gary is a Navy Veteran and we proudly fly the US flag and pray for all of our troops daily. We will do this again next year, but instead of using the large websites, will save all the phone numbers from your phone calls and will offer a free night next year ourselves. It is my plan to put all of your phone numbers in a hat and just draw one out. Again, we offer our heartfelt apologizes for your inconvenience and the misunderstandings this has caused.
